The Schnalstal Valley ski area offers its visitors many advantages.

Skiing and Snowboarding

High altitudes between 2011 m and 3220 m warrant a high guarantee for snow. The position on the south face of the Alps means lots of sunshine early in the year. In addition the calm location far off the mass skiing areas ensures that the waiting period at the ski lifts remains minimal.
The cable car only takes 6 minutes to take up to 80 people up to the Hochjochferner, where an 8 km long downhill adventure awaits ski fans. Ski lifts take you from the valley up to the nearer pistes.

The ski slopes are suitable for beginners and professionals. Various national ski teams arrive annually at our glacier to practice for the season. The Schnalstal Valley skiing area, famous for the discovery of the Iceman near the Hauslabjoch, meets the requirements of sporting families, skiiers and snowboarders of all age groups.

The cable car and ski lifts in Kurzras take you to alpine terrain within minutes. The mountain giants in the Oetzaler Alps have memorable downhill adventures in store for you. Mountain guides and the Ski School Passeier-Schnals will gladly accompany you.

Cross-Country Ski and Tobogganing

The cross-country ski courses on the glacier and the Lazaunalm are sporting challenges. Skiverleih hires out fast toboggans - speeding downhill is tempting.
