The Schnalstaler mountain railways are only 23 km from Kuppelrain. At 3,212 m, the Hochjochferner features 13 lifts and 35 kilometres of ski slopes.
Cross-country enthusiasts will find 17 km of high-altitude cross-country ski trails in areas that are sure to have snow (at altitudes far beyond 2,400 m).
