Christmas and New Year on the Ritten

The Ritten, covered in deep snow, sparkles like a diamond in the sun light. The sky is azure and the Dolomites are clear and seem to be within your reach.
Winter is something really special in our holiday region. It is peaceful, romantic and idyllic and in spite of this alluring, but it does not encourage hibernation. Directly in front of our hotel door the frozen Lake Wolfsgruben encourages you to go ice skating.

The family ski region of Rittner Horn, only 10km distant, appeals to you to go skiing, tobogganing or snowshoeing. You can enjoy winter at its most beautiful by walking along the snow-covered trails and listen to the gentle crunching and cracking of snow underfoot.
You can relax to the full in our wellness oasis after any winter sporting activities. Here you can soak up the warmth and relieve any tensions and stiffness.

Once you are completely relaxed, you can wine and dine on our South Tyrol and Italian specialities.

Those interested in art, culture or shopping can drift down to Bozen’s picturesque historic city centre in a modern cable car. There, by the way, the well-known Silvesterlauf (New Year’s Eve run) takes place.
Whether or not you run, you can celebrate in the evening just like a winner. Our gala dinner leaves nothing to be desired.
