Flowering meadows in the land of witches and sages... gams safaris on
tiptoe... lots of great ideas for our guests
Happy cows refresh themselves here on the largest Hochalm (mountain pasture)
in Europe on the lush grass stretching over 52 square kilometres. An incredibly
rich plethora of blossoms and flowers flourishes on the mountain meadows and
pastures and anyone who like can go for leisurely walks or challenging
hikes.
In order to keep the nature reserve free of motorcar as far as possible,
access is regulated but open to hotel guests. Make the most of enjoying this
almost car-free zone between Brixen and Bozen, between Kastelruth and Seis am
Schlern. Horse-drawn carriages are in use on the high ground (1800 to 2200
metres) and whoever wants can reach the nearby village of Seis comfortably by
cable car. A descent into the valley with the best view.
Fill your lungs with the fresh air and get active.

18-hole course in Kastelruth / Seiser Alm, only 15 km from Hotel Icaro. With
that the 60 hectares of the golf course with its idyllic ponds, ravines, creeks
and fascinating waterfalls is meant. The golf club belongs to 7 Golf in
