High above the Eisacktal (Eisack Valley), the Hotel Feldthurnerhof blends into the soft hills of the low mountains between the cathedral city of Brixen (9 km) and the town of Klausen (4 km) overtopped by the picturesque Säben castle and monastery complex. The “Keschtnweg” runs from Feldthurns to Vahrn near Brixen. A culinary and cultural highlight in the midst of splendid fall colours, past churches, chapels, castles and ruins. Be sure to plan for an unhurried stopover at a wine or fruit grower.
