“You fly as high as Icarus!”

Words, which were used by guests and which inspired the name of the hotel, the former mountain hut dating back to 1936. The ski pioneer Hans Jirasek, and builder of the hut and a ski jump for his daredevil ski jumps, filled his guests with enthusiasm, and so it all started... in the heart of the Seiser Alm (Seiser Alps/Alpe di Siusi), 1910 metres above sea level.
Today the Sattler family tends to the well-being of the guests, who can devote their whole being to relaxation in modern ambiance against the stunning mountain backdrop of the majestic Alps. Up here, switching off is as effortless as breathing in the mountain air.

with a panoramic view on the landmark of Südtirol (South Tyrol), the Schlern (Scalier) with its witches. Start the day in the indoor pool or end it there, in the inside whirlpool or in the one under the stars, just the way you like it. Steam bath, Finnish sauna, fitness room, and sun-bathing lawn with a 360 view for eye relaxation contribute to a holistic feeling of well-being. The Sattler family can be proud of the panoramic sauna, a sauna house from Kelo pine, in the hotel garden below a breathtaking panorama of mountain peaks on the highest mountain pasture in the Alps, yes even in Europe.

A new addition is the Beauty Resort with pleasantly pampering massages (La Stone, Ayurved, Shiatso-Indiano and sport massages), peelings and face and body packs, from gentle rose peeling to snug winter day peeling and a skin-rejuvenating peeling with mountain salt. Apple extract and rosebud cream packs pamper the skin. Surrounded by the flowering meadows, an Alpine hay wrap must form part of the treatment.

Amid the Naturpark Schlern-Rosengarten (Schlern-Rosengarten nature reserve), flanked in the southeast by the distinctive Langkofel mountain, the Sella and to the north the Geisler group, with a sweeping view up to the highest peak in Südtirol (South Tyrol), the Ortler (3905 m)...
All rooms and suites have balconies and are furbished with all modern comforts, the rooms with shower and WC and the suites with bath and WC, hairdryer, Sat-TV, telephone and safe.  The hotel is equipped with a lift. At request, pets are allowed.

Worth knowing

Traffic regulations on the Seiser Alm (Seiser Alps):
Use of a car at arrival and departure is unrestricted for hotel guests with a reservation. During the stay driving is not allowed between 10:00 AM and 17:00 PM.
