There is a very good reason for us calling our half-board "superior" at the
four star superior Hotel Ebner's Waldhof. Tending to our guests' needs
throughout the day is what we enjoy doing best. The excellent feedback from our
guests with regard to the meals we serve is also reflected in the great number
of positive appraisals received from gourmet critics - the "Feinschmecker und
Falstaff" for example which rates us among the best restaurants in the country.
However, the awards and accolades are not as important to us as when our guests
say to us "that tasted really good!". Superior half-board at the Hotel Ebner's
Waldhof does not only include excellent cuisine, but embodies our philosophy of
taking care of our guests as a whole: when you book superior half board, a whole
list of additional services, activities and wellness facilities are on offer to

The perfect breakfast in the gourmet hotel by Lake
Fuschl.
Our delicious breakfast buffet provides you with the perfect
start to your day with fresh, local produce. It doesn't matter if you are an
“early bird” or late riser, your breakfast wishes will be catered for in the
Main House Restaurant and in the Gütl Garden Restaurant. At the delicious “wake
up” breakfast buffet you're spoilt for choice; aromatic coffee, freshly pressed
juices, different types of bread, crunchy cereals and lots, lots more.

In
the Main House Restaurant Franz-Josef Wagner will leave nothing to be desired
with traditional Austrian specialities. The Ebner's Waldhof superior half-board
means that meals can be enjoyed almost around the clock. After treating yourself
in the morning to exactly what you fancy, the breakfast buffet then makes way
for the snack buffet where you can help your self to a range of small dishes
from 1 pm onwards. This is followed by coffee and cake in the afternoon. In the
evening too you are spoilt for choice when the four-course meal is complemented
by an hors-d’oeuvre, salad and cheese buffet. This can only be topped by
enjoying your meal at a table on the terrace watching the sun slowly set over
Lake Fuschl. This an unforgettable experience of such picturesque beauty that
will remain indelibly captured in your memory.

The Gütl “vitality restaurant” with the taste of Alpine
Wellness
Have you ever eaten Alpine Wellness? Well, our vitality
restaurant enables you to do just that, treating you to delicious food of a very
special kind! In the Gütl Garden Restaurant and on the Gütl Terrace our head
chef presents culinary delicacies using the finest regional products including
native herbs. He sets very high value on the Alpine Wellness philosophy of
“health from within”: Only the best home-grown ingredients are used. It simply
makes a difference that can be tasted. The head chef recommends freshly caught
char from the crystal-clear waters of Lake Fuschl filled with aromatic local
herbs … Bon appétit!

The Bürgermeisterstube dining room: Award-winning cuisine in
the “gourmet restaurant"
This is the place to dine if you would like to enjoy
our award winning cuisine in a deliciously comfortable yet stylish atmosphere.
In the à la carte dining room, the “Bürgermeisterstube”, you will be served
artfully created dishes prepared by our head chef Alexander Ebner which reflect
the restaurants “vitality cuisine” philosophy. This means that the meals served
here are just as special and multifaceted as their source of inspiration – the
Salzkammergut Lake District. The exquisite meals served in the
Bürgermeisterstube dining room do not only attract hotel guests, but
connoisseurs from near and far and in 2009 it was awarded a commendation by
Gault Millaut. The award of course is a true honour which makes us very happy –
almost as happy as when you grace us with your presence in the
Bürgermeisterstube!
